Million missing from electoral roll

Nearly a million people, mainly young are missing from the new election register with the introduction of individual voter registration. This will affect young people at University, who up to this registration had their details log on by the University. The purpose is to reduce fraud and was originally a Labour idea, but  needed appropriate safeguards, the Tories and the  Libdems see this as away of disenfranchising the young and gaining an electoral advantage.
