David Cameron has promised to fire "rocket boosters" under the US-EU trade deal, which he says will be worth £10bn to the UK economy. We must all resist this deal, otherwise US companies will have the abilty to buy up the NHS and other public services, without any future government being able to cancel or modify the contracts. US food companies which have lower standards than our own, will be able to flood our market with unhealthy foods. Cameron dismisses these criticisms as "weak" with "no threat to the NHS or other public services".
TTIP will remove expensive "barriers" that restrict the buying and selling of goods and services between the US and the EU. Businesses could challenge and override decisions made by elected governments. Once they take over the NHS it would be impossible to bring it back to public ownership.
Farage supports this idea, although he now denys it. A Tory/UKIP coalition would destroy all we hold dear.
